Joe May
Founder and Managing Partner
Joe May is Founder and Managing Partner of Adelphi. Prior to forming Adelphi, Joe spent over 25 years with The Graham Group. Joe is a former Founder and Managing Principal of Graham Partners, where he shared responsibility for all major aspects of Graham Partners’ investment process, including investment sourcing, structuring and exiting, as well as working with portfolio companies to build value. He also served on Graham Partners’ Investment Committee.
Prior to the formation of the Graham Partners funds, Joe was integrally involved with corporate development activities relating to operating interests held by entities associated with The Graham Group – working on M&A transactions completed in France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Poland, Brazil, and Argentina. During Joe’s tenure, Graham Partners closed over eighty acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and divestitures, and raised through the Graham Partners’ funds together with Graham-led co-investments, approximately $2.7 billion of committed capital. Joe earned a BS from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Chuck Campbell
Operating Partner
Mr. Campbell joined Adelphi as an Operating Partner in 2021. Chuck has spent his career in the building products industry. He worked with CertainTeed for 24 years as President of the Siding Products Group before joining American Wholesale Ltd in 2005, where he served as Executive Director of this leading North American building products distributor for 14 years. Chuck is a proven, effective operator and excellent leader with extensive experience working with building products manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Jack May
Operating Partner
Jack May joined Adelphi in 2019. He is currently the Managing Director of Adelphi’s portfolio business, Keystone Novelties, a fireworks distribution and retail business. In addition to Jack's role at Adelphi, he is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Gemini Capital Group, a firm focused on providing investment capital, governance and executive leadership to lower middle market businesses. Jack's experience includes business valuation and acquisition along with general management and marketing skills from a decade of leading $100M+ consumer brands for Johnson & Johnson and Kraft Nabisco.
In addition to his time with Gemini, J&J and Nabisco, Jack led SEI Investments, a fortune 1000 institutional investment management company, through the introduction of three new business lines. Jack earned a BS from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a proven leader and investment professional with excellent brand management experience, and brings tremendous value to the Adelphi team.
Don Roussinos
Operating Partner
Don Roussinos is an Operating Partner at Adelphi Capital Partners, LLC. and is currently also the President & CEO of Adelphi’s portfolio company, Controlled Environment Systems, LLC (CES).
A leader of small to large enterprises, Don enables the team to achieve the next level of success while driving discipline and growth into the organization. Don brings over 25 years of senior executive experience in project management and systems development to CES. He was recently the President of Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, which supplies power and propulsion systems to naval forces worldwide. He also served as President of L-3 Maritime Systems, a preeminent supplier of automation, communication and navigation systems. Additionally, he has served on boards for industry associations and consortiums of advanced technology and manufacturing.
Don received a Master of Management degree from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He completed an Executive Leadership Program at University of Oxford. A certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Don served on the board of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts, the largest member organization that represents Massachusetts industry’s interests. Don has also served as Director and Chair of the Finance-Audit Committee for the Commonwealth Center of Advanced Manufacturing, a consortium of industry leaders for advanced additive manufacturing and applied research.

Tom Smith
Operating Partner
Mr. Smith joined Adelphi as an operating partner in early 2021. Tom has over 30 years of experience in materials manufacturing and building products. He spent much of his career as President of both the Siding/Decking/Railing and Roofing Product Groups of the CertainTeed Corporation, where he drove profitable multi-million-dollar sales growth in highly competitive markets. Tom is adept at leading sales team performance improvement and creating manufacturing team excellence.
Robert Adams
Senior Advisor
Rob Adams joined Adelphi in 2019. Rob currently advises Adelphi’s portfolio business, Grow Environment Systems, which engineers products and systems for large-scale indoor cannabis cultivation. Prior to teaming with Adelphi, Rob spent the majority of his career as lead engineer and owner of Controlled Environment Systems, overseeing the design of cannabis grow systems and products. He currently advises the systems of division of CES, which focuses on life sciences, pharmaceuticals, CMM and metrology labs.

Rob brings his knowledge of commercial mechanical, electrical, construction materials and methods integration to advise in the creation of controlled environments for CES. He designed the patented Gro-AHU, an air-handling unit designed for optimizing cannabis cultivation.
Bob Rumer
Operating Partner
Mr. Rumer joined Adelphi as an operating partner in 2022. Bob spent the majority of his 40-year career as VP of Sales leading a $1.0 billion multi-channel siding division of CertainTeed where he developed leaders, managed product lines, reduced SG&A, grew multiple product lines and formulated a robust voice of the customer process. More recently, Bob was Executive Director and COO of a $7.0 billion building product distributor cooperative, American Wholesale Ltd., where he was responsible for increasing revenue by ~20%, directed strategic planning initiatives and served in an advisory role for growth strategy and business operations.

Garret Bullard
Senior Associate
Garret Bullard joined Adelphi Capital Partners in 2019. At Adelphi, Garret helps to source and evaluate new investment opportunities and also provides ongoing support and oversight for Adelphi’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Adelphi, Garret spent four years with an engineering/environmental firm supporting Environmental Phase II investigation and Phase III remediation efforts. Garret earned his MBA from Drexel University with a concentration in Finance, and was selected as a Lawrie Advanced Global Leadership Fellow. He obtained his B.S degree from Temple University.
